    Brand name

Is any one out there tied to a particular brand named shell
I have tried a few different brands but always seem to go back to Rio's.
I have heard that certain guns "prefer" certain shells and I am fast becoming a believer of that .

If Rio shells work for you keep shooting them. Stack them deep!

Yes. I'm a huge Federal fan. Qa/Qc. That said, I keep coming back to Remington sluggers fir slugs. They are accurate, they deform sensibly without fragmenting and donuting, and they are affordable.

I guess it depends on what you want to do.
Federal Premium with flitecontrol is my go to for defensive use. I pattern it a couple times a year, and mostly stack it deep.
Tried some fiocchi 00 buck that was on sale in ammo cans and it shot well enough so I stacked some of that up too.

Again, just depends on what you're looking for. Performance? Price?
