I love it -- not for a BOV, but I love it anyway.

Dunno why so many tin hatters (not necessarily you, ZDL ) think a tank like this would be suited to the BOV role.

I'd take it and love to park it in one of those RV parks full of retirees...

I have an old Dodge/Cummings 12 valve that makes an awesome bug out vehicle! Awesome fuel economy 18-20 mpg and will pull a house. Plus its all mechanical! No computers or any electrionics controling the fuel or ignition systems.

This is very important in the case of nuclear attack. One EMP detinated at high altitued over the country anything electronic is toast. There would be alot of sheeple stumped as to why their car won't work at a most critcal time.

Bugging out only works if you have somewhere nice to go.

Most people who bug out become refugees anyway. Or at least internally displaced persons.

There are better uses for money...

I agree with that statement. I also feel that the best vehicle is one that not only works but blends in. Just my opinion

Must've been 30 years ago now that I horsed my 4x4 full-size Bronco 40 miles up a narrow double-track in northwest Montana. When I arrived at the primitive campground, my Bronco covered in mud, the first thing I saw was an elderly couple sitting in folding chairs...next to an equally muddy Mini Winnie.

    Another singer-not-song thang, mebbe?
