Any idea on the chances of Aimpoint putting out the technical drawings etc of the mount interface early for aftermarket mounting solutions? Just curious if the adapter plates are going to be initially an Aimpoint only product.

I know agency and atom already have plate adapters for them so no it will not be an aimpoint/glock only plate.

That's interesting as I have not heard that and I work for Aimpoint as a Pro Staff member. Not only had the optic not gone into full production as of SHOT there were some small changes also being made from the pre-production models that we were showing there. Again, there may be a number of pre-production pieces floating around in Canada as they work directly with Aimpoint Sweden vs. Aimpoint USA.

They are in production and we have been supplying them to government end users in Canada, we have production units not prototypes on our work guns, plus end users have been giving excellent reviews on the the ACRO....

The specs have been available to the mounting market and there are several being designed as we speak. I saw the ATOM prototype at SHOT and I know several others are working on other versions as well.
