    Muzzle Brake Recommendations for AK

I'm getting a SAM 7 SF this week and would appreciate recommendations for best muzzle brake. My chief goal is minimizing felt recoil and controlling muzzle rise, etc.

    Recommendations please.

The Arsenal SAM7 has 24x1.5mm muzzle threads, so keep that in mind.

I'd love to get a VENOM for it, but no can do due to muzzle thread.

Hard to beat the standard ak74 style brake for the 24mm threads
Looks like k var is out of stock on the 7.62 version, might have to hunt a bit to find one

That would be my suggestion as well.

    My three...

The real AK74 brake with the internal blast chamber is a marvel of fluid dynamic engineering. The Tapco version, not so much.

Check Definitive Arms Fighter 24. Good balance of blast, flash & control.

The tapco version is complete junk. I had baffle strikes with mine as it was flopping around every shot.

Real ones are very effective in 5.45/5.56 at least.

The ak74 brake is superb at reducing recoil and muzzle climb. The 4 piece does some, but not much to reduce recoil, it is useful for increasing cycling pressure, redirecting concussion downrange, and somewhat reduces flash signature. Generally the 4 piece is recommended for short barrels with obnoxious blast,

I dig the Spikes Tactical version.

The ak74 brakes are sized for 5.45 and need to be opened up for 7.62 use. The 4 piece are sized for 7.62 and good to go.
I do recommend cnc warrior for the 4 piece great quality and great price. With the ak104 (cr) I dont think you'll go wrong with the 4 piece, if I'm not mistaken thats the rifle they were specifically designed for, and besides they look cool as shit on there and we all know thats what's really important

I have an extended 4 piece on my ak105 to bring it to 16, and its really a pleasure, eventually ill sbr it but ill still run a 4 piece
