    crush injury....graphic

i dropped a 16' long 8x8 onto my thumb literally blew out the tissue and bone. went to an urgent care who wouldnt touch it. spent 5 hours in the ER. i cant imagine trying to treat this in the woods! ive broken a lot of bones over the years (including ribs) and this was by far the most painful.

    Brother!

Get yourself on a good mineral supplement and B-vitamin regimen.

    Heal!

Eek. Reminds me of an injury my dad got at the ranch. You'll be okay.

(Love the avatar, by the way).

Just looking at that made my thumbs hurt! I hope your grafts take well & you heal quickly. I crushed my left pinkie 3yrs ago, but nothing like that. Is it just the tip, or did the joint get mashed, too?

I had one of those injuries when I was 16 years old and I am now 65 . It will get better though. I still have the scar !!! The picture brought back memories.
