From what I understand Kevin's cans are the next evolution of what he did for sig's lines of cans. Lighter, more volume, better tapered muzzle devices for his "QD" cans ect... However, I haven't seen any metering data on any of them and as of now hes only putting out 30 cal cans and 22 cans. I have heard dedicated 556 cans are coming down the line. If there was more info available on metering data, back pressure ect... I would have probably bought one at this point to try out.
Agreed here. Lack of independent test data is holding me back.
But that is also what I hear based on what they've publicly spoken about.
PS: there is a podcast interview series with him on iTunes. I don't use iTunes, so I haven't heard it yet.

Very unlikely they will suck. They will be as good as his last work, but only time will tell. The concern is will he or it be around. On a bolt gun, cans just work for the most part. Ive been happy with every can I have run on bolts. Gas guns and back pressure is where the rubber meets the road IMHO. --And QD devices.

And, he has a couple of guns as well. From what I hear they are selling well, but low production.

To be honest I have seen some mixed reviews on the honey badger, particularly the stock. But none of them are conclusive in my opinion.
I still want one.

Hope I’m in the right place but I’m thinking about buying a Surefire SOCOM SB CAN over the RC2 for my 10.3 rifle do to the price my main concern is that the “first round pop” (FLASH) going to be more significant from the SB over the RC?
Thanks.
