Neck thickness is .0135 now after 11 rounds. Primer pocket still pretty tight.

From rounds 5 to 11 I went from 76.5 to 77.4gr and back to 77gr for the final round of powder. No hard bolt or extraction. Bullet Slowed down slighty with more then 77gr of powder. Seems 77 was the sweet spot for velocity vs gr of powder.

With some federal premium brass from FGMM ammo I loaded up to 77.8 gr h1000 with the same 2900 velocity. Shoots .66 inch 5 round groups so far. Thinking it will tighten up further after 100 rounds through the gun.

Photo below is the brass with 10 rounds on it before the 11th firing, next to one with none.

I thought the lot of Norma I had a few years back was too soft. It's fine brass, but didn't do anything different the WCC or Federal did for me after sorting the brass. Just didn't think it was worth the money, when I was getting 6-8 reloads pending the load on brass 1/3 the price that shot always under an inch, I didnt have a need to go back to the Norma.

Weather looks sketchy for this weekend's shoot. Hopefully the forecast changes so we're not dodging lightening bolts, and are able to shoot.

I’m going to lose my mind if we miss two weeks in a row. My mental health will suffer.

Jake , 11 rounds is so very legit. Great news Well done. And getting those groups is badass.

I think I may do another few rounds on this piece of brass and call it good. Well at my expectations already. So I'll save the powder and bullets for something else. The gun seems to shoot. So happy so far. Ill be shooting some accubonds and Bergers here also. Well see how those do.

Fingers crossed on the weather. Junior is home sizing .223 brass today. Homework.

After13 reloads now. Primer pocket still tight. I upped the charge as I have some decent info from a few other on charges of 79gr of h1000 with ELDx 200 gr pills. They are identical speed to the accubonds and the book accubond max is 79 gr for the 210s. May still have a little room.

I upped it to 78gr of h1000 powder and got 2929, 2931, and 2928 fps. No pressure signs.

So far, I trimmed the brass after round 4 and not again until round 11. Primer pocket surprising tight still. I shot another round out of another piece of brass with one firing on it and got 2928 also. Same as the one with many more rounds.

In conclusion. The brass that is 13 rounds through it shot the same FPS as the brass with 1 firing. Primer pocket is still tight. No abnormal signs that would cause me to not keep shooting with this piece of brass. I am sold. Not sure how many rounds I want to try to put through it, but right now, I have more then sufficient rounds to call this brass good in my book well past 10 firings.

Here is the rifle that is testing this brass.

Yea, I might have to buy another hundo for rainy day ammo. Very good results.

I'm in that same boat.. but with 250 already and the life I'm seeing out of this example piece, I will shoot out this barrel before needing new brass.

Tuesday I'll be doing some load development with the gun and this brass. I don't think I'll shoot the 225gr pills out of this gun, but stick to the 200 grainers. Might up the powder to 78.5 and see if I can get to 2950 fps. That I would be really happy with. That would be about 50 fps or so less then the 26 inch barrel 300wm I have that shows very slight flattened primers at a touch over 3k fps with these same pills.

I also have 11 lbs of H4831 and considering using that. I believe the temp stabilities of those two are really close and shouldn't really make much difference. Usually the H4831 is listed as the most accurate. It's a slightly faster burn the H1000 so maybe I'll give that a go with this 24 inch barreled Cadex.
