I have an SBR 106UR, folded it's only 19.3". About as compact of a 5.56 rifle as you'll find.

No problem. Ask a question, get an answer.

All kinds of rifles out there, most have inherent strengths and weaknesses. The trick is knowing which one is the best solution for your particular needs.

If I wanted one rifle to do CQB, field work and sniper applications well the AUG does that trick well with 3 barrels even if you do run into optics complications as well trying to use it in a dedicated DMR role.

But as a lot of people have already said, 6945 might be the best solution to the SBR question all things considered.

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned the SCAR 16 with a 10” barrel? It has an adjustable gas valve for suppressed use.

I like my KAC SR-15 Mod 2. I am thinking about getting the SBR upper for it

Mine is a pig, even more so with the NT4 hanging off of the end. The Seekins SBR8 build I'm piecing together now will be at least 1.5 lbs lighter (w/can), with more handguard to boot.

I'm very happy with my 11.5 BCM.
