My 5.56 SBR's consist of an older Noveske MK18 and a newer BCM 11.5". I honestly use the BCM more than the Noveske. The 11.5" barrel just feels better to me all the way around. Gas, accuracy, balance, etc. Not to mention the BCM MLOK rail is pretty slick. If you have KAC money to spend, by all means go for it. Lord knows I would!

Because there are so many advantages and options. I'm a pretty big bullpup fan but I can understand why somebody might want to run a 6933 or 6945 over an AUG. I have all three and my 6945 is my primary go to currently. Bullpups generally suck for suppression and AR platforms typically provide faster magazine changes and familiarity for most shooters.

More an outdoor ranch type rifle bullpups have some practical advantages over AR platforms.

11.5 Sionics reduced gas port is very nice, and paired nicely w my A5 system. I wanted a FSP so Centurion C4 cutout was my choice. Shoots great suppressed. Excellent customer service.

12.5 Centurion barrel is supposed to be badass. I really want to build one out w the new lower. They're doing so much right as a company. CMR rail on my Colt is great.

KAC if you can swing it.

Maybe both? Pistol B&T to shoot while waiting for the KAC papers to clear Looking at suppressor I was looking at the Q trash panda as it is rated for basically everything and I think would work well with multiple platforms

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't considered the suppression angle, and was just looking at it from a compactness standpoint.

I don't know about ruling them all... but for me it has been the Colt LE6945CQB factory SBR. I use my SiCo Omega with the 5.56 flat front cap.

Found it locally 2 years ago.

...and for no good reason, I had a friend (and master welder) cut down a bayo for it!

Hey, you can run out of ammo.

I think the 6945 is the biggest hidden gem in plain sight in the SBR world. Love mine.

I love my BCM SBR’s. But they’re hard to find in stock thus one is a Form 1 (Factory Upper and Lower) and another is a Form 4.

I like 11.5” and 12.5”. If I had to get an SBR today? I’d get a 6933 even better if you could find it with the SOCOM barrel. I don’t have interest in building one and suppression on an AR is not worth the money to me currently. I figure basically for the cost of the rifle again I can reduce 30-ish decibels which all of the ones I shot still range my ears (10.5” SCAR, 10.5” AR, 16” AR).

    God Bless,

    Brandon

ETA: I’d totally go for a BCM SBR over Colt FWIW. But, I believe the only place I’ve seen them is G&R.
