Redo my S&W Sport or build

I have a S&W Sport II with only about 50 rounds through it,got the 6.5 grendel bug, should I buy or build a 6.5 upper or build a whole new rifle, obviously the first option gives me 2 calibers by changing upper,so what do you guys think, thanks

Having multiple uppers for a single lower provides lots of flexibility.

You can always get a second lower later.

Depends on what you want to use the 6.5 for.

You don't know the rifle will do and aren't convinced you are up to the job. My point is... Putting the best target upper on a bargain basement lower won't make it a target rifle any more than it will make you an accomplished marksman. You don't sound experienced enough to even ask the question you ask. It takes more than 50 rounds to decide what a rifle will do.

Ok,I heard a lot about accuracy being dependent on the barrel, trigger and scope, not so much the lower for accuracy.I hear a lot lot of criticism and no suggestions no hints to get better, think I've hit the wrong group,I was expecting suggestions and tips to get better.

Moved since this seemed to be geared more towards 6.5 and not the 5.56 aspects.
