    firearms raffle-- advice needed

One of my fellow officers died in his sleep a few months ago. The family needs some financial assistance. I would like to raffle off a few firearms.

I need to do this using and online company. I don't want to sell tickets or have to handle cash. The firearms are going to be purchased through a local retailer . They will be kept at the gun store until the winners either pick them up or make arrangements to have them transferred .

Can anyone recommend a company that could help me get this going? Any advice, suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The first thing to do is check your state regulations on raffles. In my state you are not allowed to hold a raffle without a gaming permit and permits are only given to non-profit groups. Our state also regulates the process of selling tickets online. We can advertise the raffle online, but the ticket buyer must contact the ticket seller by phone to complete the transaction.

Our union is a non profit. We will get the gaming permit using their info
