LGS has one.
Seems to be an accurate repro from what I saw. But I'm not sure I'd pay almost double what a Brownell's retro goes for.
" Political tags such as [...], communist, democrat, [...], fascist, liberal, conservative, [...] are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort. "

While I'd love the rollmarks, I'd need more info an who actually built what parts and how. Otherwise might as well go with Brownell's which is at least a known quantity.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.

I prefer the E1.
I saw Colts retro M16a1 build at a local store...Nice, gave me flashbacks, but they were asking $2500......Uh, no.
I bought one for $1800, and I like it. I think $2500 is too high.
