Possible to convert an FS slide to a D slide?

I have searched and can not find anything...

Is there a plug that can fill the hole left by the FS decocker and effectively convert it to a D model?

I don't think there is a plug for the slide. I might be wrong on that.

I do know that Indianapolis Police Department at one time were issued 92G model and then decided that they wanted 92D but instead of changing over just converted to DAO.

So Beretta installed D hammers in the pistols and left the lever, which then did nothing.

I also know that Beretta made some 92DS, which were DAO with a safety. I would rather have the decocking lever do nothing.

You might find a 92D slide, but you are probably looking at $250.00ish bucks for used.
