That's pretty much the common rate at the moment. Got mine over the 4th from Primary Arms for 99. Appears well made. I put the brace on the extension of a recently (months ago) purchased Colt lower. Excellent fit however;

Photo 1 shows the brace fully collapsed. In that position, the brace is not locked in presumably due to differences in tubes.




Photo 2 shows the brace extended out to the nearest locked position.




Photo 3 shows fully extended and locked.



There's one locked position in between therefore, technically, on the Colt tube, there are 3 locked positions and then the fully collapsed, unlocked position. The factory Colt setup is 4-position. The SBA3 with its included extension is 5-position.



Believe I'm beginning to like this "brace". Well made with a firm yet flexible "rubbery" end. Could not ask for a better fit regarding sliding the brace to and fro along the length of the extension. Just the right amount of friction imo.

There were some good deals over the 4th weekend but that’s pretty good of a price. Here’s one $115 plus $8 flat rate shipping from Rocky Brass never used them before but it’s in stock and on gun deals.com

Be careful buying from Optics Planet. I ordered mine on June 7th it claimed to be in stock but then went on backorder, I just received it on July 15th.

I'm the op on that thread and earlier this year I actually got a sba3 through them. It was before my current debacle (which did just get resolved today). It was on backorder for about 3 months before I received it. (I think I was quoted 2 to 3 weeks)
