1911s deserve a good leather holster. I bought a pancake holster from Tucker and Byrd. Good stuff

Tony Kanaly of Milt Sparks fame (long time owner after Milt passed away) designed the PMK holster specifically for his wife Pam (hence the initials).

It is designed to be more comfortable for a woman's curves. As it happens, it is also a smoking good holster for men too. Very comfortable.

For the OP, it would be well worth your time to check out the PMK from Milt Sparks.

    Buy Once Cry Once.

Paying $120 bucks (or whatever they run these days) for a high quality rig, beats the hell out of having a cardboard box full of crappy $60 holsters that are "just as good as", that never really are, and you've wasted $300 dollars on, trying to be cheap.
THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL.

This website is marketed toward women. Under "Articles", there's a section regarding choosing holsters.
