    OH MAN THAT IS SWEET!!!

I see they changed the design from what was pictured in the Glock Annual. Besides the markings, is anything else different from a standard G17?

I heard a rumor that mine will be here tomorrow at 11am.

I noticed that the place of origin on the right side no longer says "Glock Austria and Smyrna” but only says "Glock Smyrna, GA"(US made receiver). The receiver seams to be a different composite of polymer then what comes from Austria. I have not opened it up to see if the inside is different

The USA made ones that I handled were slightly different from their Austrian counterparts. I noticed several small differences under the slide as well, specifically around the forward rails: there is more plastic around them and it's smoothed out flat. When I pick my 20th Anniversary up I'll try and get some side-by-side shots of the differences.

Of course, I should probably leave the photography up to you.

I was all set to get one of these and then had second thoughts.

I just don't see the value increase in this as a collectible item. Maybe specific numbers may mean enough to warrant the extra price to some.

I went to pick mine up and the # of 2006 was one digit off from what would have meant something to me. It wasn't an original criteria, but the design change started to bring doubt and that sealed it.

The dealer did call Glock and we called Davidson's and it(the specific number) was already gone, so I've decided not to get it-gotta go tell the dealer , although it really wasn't ordered specially for me anyhow, just "reserved"

Such is life, now I have to figure out what to spend that money on--------

The # *** of 2006 is one digit off from the serial number because Glock starts the pistol numbers a ***000 and the # of 2006 started at the #001 of 2006

it was a 4 digit number and the ones was off from a number that would've had a significance.

I'm in the doghouse there now.

You talked yourself into one months ago. I did not think you would get past not buying one!
