    MeanArms PMAG 9mm conversion

I saw an article about this on The Loadout Room. The kit allows you to convert PMAGs to run 9mm in a standard lower that has a 9mm upper attached. It seems like a pretty darn good idea.

You guys have any thoughts? Has this been done before?
I’ve not messed with any pistol caliber stuff, instead planning on a CZ Scorpion.

That’s a little high for converting the mags but I like the concept.

For my locale, I think it is worth while. We have a 10 rd limit for pistol mags, so my friend went the colt mag route to use 30 rd mags

If we lived in a freer state, he would have gone glock

$25 per mag? Do they really think they are going to sell them? Geeez a magwell adapter would work. IMO it's beyond stupid. You would have to have an upper, why not spring the money for a lower that works?

I think this seems to be one of the better “conversion” options on the market. I have not used one but am really tempted to do so and report on it.

Yep looks like a better idea than the Pmag conversions. Not by much. $179? A little more and you can do a completer lower. One thing I don't understand is they say, " and a must-have for law enforcement." Huh? Why is it a "must have?"

Yeah, I have no idea about the “must have”.

I like the idea since i dont want to have to build another lower. The prices does appear a bit steep, I would be out the door if it was 120.

Actually kind of excited to see how this functions once it hits the wild. Great idea especially for guy's who all ready have SBR's setup the way they like and just want a cheaper way to train / have some fun. $70 to be able to run 9 is cheaper then a dedicated 9 lower (could be anywhere from $150-350, w/ 2 mags) or even the mag adapter ($170-250, w/ 2 mags).

FYI - They make the Stern adapter to take M&P magazines too (if that floats your boat). I don't own an M&P, but nteresting.
