I thought you were talking about the SBA3. That’s a nice brace that you have as well. What is better about this brace over the SBA3 or is it just a Ford vs Chevy thing? They both are good

[QUOTE=indianalex01;2689354]Only difference really is preference. It’s full on plastic and not rubber so none of that Velcro that goes around the brace. For me it shoulders better and at the time it went out for sale it was the only brace that was telescoping.

$150 is a great deal for the GHW Mod 2..... I paid $185 for mine about a year ago. Still curious about the SBA3 though. The use of a standard buffer tube is desirable, but with the GHW, it comes with the (proprietary) one, not sure the SBA3 does for the same price.

An SBA3 will arrive on Monday, and the primary reason I chose it is because it'll let me use the factory installed carbine receiver extension.
The receiver extension it comes with will likely be installed onto a stripped receiver when I eventually decide to assemble it, which makes the brace quite reasonably priced.
I have two SBA3's and for my needs, they are outstanding. Keep in mind that they will only adjust five out of the six positions on the receiver extension, due to the ATF fine print, but either way, they flat out work. Both of mine are outfitted with the SplitFix from Lunar Concepts, https://wisemencompany.com/sba3-splitfix/, which does an excellent job of stiffening the brace.
