Useful.
Reliability in the most extreme conditions is always useful, especially in a true SHTF scenario. The AK is in a class on it's own and remains the best all around combat weapon ever fielded. While dated, lacking more modern ergonomics, refinement- it has yet to be surpassed by anything else in terms of shear reliability and durability.

I don’t know. What did the species of ancient giant humans use?
An AK is an Ak is an AK. Am I the only one that noticed that the Chinese and Serbian AK's failed when the Russian passed with flying colors. In my experience the Chinese Aks have always been high quality with exception of the finish. I'm calling bs on the test.
Dumping sand in the back of the action is not useful. Sand would normally enter through the front of the weapon. Giant ejection port.
I wonder how well the Polish Aks would fare in this test. Because if Pakistan doesn't want it I'll probably just pass.
The Russians likely opened up the gas port to pass the testing. Russians are shifty as **** but their weapon passed. Own a few or more, they work.
