Please do let us know how that BDC works out.

Is 2350fps muzzle velocity real World or just for sake of comparison?

Zeroing two inches high at 100 yds with the aforementioned 129 Nolser ABLR @ 2090 FPS, holding at the top of the 6 o’clock post is dead on at 200 yds, the first horizontal hash mark on the 6 o’clock is three inches down at 300 yards and while holding at the second hash mark at 400 yards, impact is six inches down. I’d really hoped to use this specific bullet but if I can get the BDC to more closely match I may switch to 120 grain projectile.

That looks like a great general-purpose carbine. Have you taken any other classes with it?

11 months out now with multiple samples (firearms and optics, suppressors, factory ammo, hand loads.

I helped a buddy of mine with his 12" Grendel pistol as well, using 2A Balios Lite receiver set and Aethon handguard.

Same internal core set-up with the 12" Faxon barrel, Bootleg Adjustable Carrier, Maxim Brace and recoil system.

    LaRue MBT-2S FCG

    LaRue LT-158

    NightForce NX8

He's shooting an Ultra 7 TBAC on his.

He found a load with the 107gr SMK he really likes in the 2450fps region.

No malfs on either of the blasters I'm aware of so far.

I'm testing out the new GRSC 1.1-10x30mm Full Spectrum Optic on mine. I'll have more detailed pics and review when I'm done with a more thorough process of running in through the paces including a lot of CQM and LR work.

Sorry. Cleared it out. He's using IMR 8208XBR under the 107gr SMK.

Factory 120gr Federal OTM is doing 2400fps at the muzzle from my 12" suppressed.

Avg velocity 15ft from the muzzle is 2384fps.

90gr TNT is doing 2698fps at the muzzle on average, 2683fps 15ft from the muzzle.

I've engaged the 2'x3' steel buffalo at 800yds with this set-up on several range trips down to North Springs with both the 120gr OTM and 123gr Hornady American Gunner, with 9/10 hit rate using a simple 1-4x24 GRSC with the drop compensator and wind deflection tree. It works really well actually. I haven't even tried any of the higher BC 123gr loads like the 123gr ELD-M, 123gr SMK, or 123gr Scenar.

Have any of y’all run the Wolf 6.5 Grendel? I’m curious how it compares to the brass cased factory offerings. I built a 16” upper with mostly Alexander Arms parts and an Adams Arms piston system. It runs 100%, including the upper half on my M16, once I figured out that I have to use an H1 buffer with this setup. I’m wondering if the Wolf I’m using provides the same energy or more/less than the brass cased offerings.
