For my half-way grip (thumb, index and middle fingers only on rail) I prefer the Arisaka Vertical Grip. It's short, light and shape nicely. It can be use as a "handstop".

Yes, I love it. I have it on my BCM mid length.

I have one mounted at the far front so I don't slip off the front end and grab the suppressor. I can't believe I never thought about using it in between fingers. I've got to try that.

Any smaller it would be too small. Any larger and you might as well get something more traditional. I like it and think I'm going to like it a lot more now that I've seen how to actually use it.

Is there any tendency to pull shots to the side as you use it for support?

Not for me. It gives me additional "pull" and indexed my hand for working the weapon light.

I put one on my SP89 a little while ago. It works well.

Got mine and got it on between little and ring fingers. You get all the traction you need from this small device and it is comfortable. It rocks!
