That was a close one, and my hat's off to Washington for coming down to the deep south, and playing us the very first game. Nobody else has the balls to schedule top 10 matchups in the very first week, and I hope those that do take these risks get some kind of reward for doing so. This has cost Auburn dearly in the past by playing highly meaningful games to start the season...last two years we opened with Clemson.

If Gus can stay on his meds, and let his coordinators do their jobs....we might have an exciting season this year. That said, Gus just kills me with his mental play calls.

    At any rate....get some haters

So does #1 Bama opening with #3 Florida State in Atlanta last year or #2 Bama opening with #8 Michigan in Arlington in 2012 count as having balls?

Yeah, Bama hammered Louisville last night. Their kicker sux tho, and my wife (big Bama fan) didn't appreciate my pointing that out.

College Football, Yes! ---- Pro, No!

Carhartt pants, Yes! ---- Levi's No!

New Balance shoes, Yes! ---- Nike, No!

You could say, I'm not just talking' the talk, but actually walking' the walk. I express myself in many ways. Freedom first, for all.

Hey man, we had a college football thread last year. You were as active in it as everyone else right up until Oklahoma lost in the Rose Bowl. What happened....puter virus, power outage, carpal tunnel of the fingers?

#22 Duke takes on unranked Virginia Tech. Bizarro World.
