    Thread on comp?

Hey guys, are any companies making thread in comps that fit the 1911 profile like the TBRC comp for glocks? The primary machine comp for the CZ’s?

Looking at a Dan Wesson Discretion commander in 9mm. Will run suppressed for fun and thought about having a comp on most of the time.

You'll find that due to the lower pressure of the 45 cartridge that compensators arent as effective as they are for 9mm .38 super etc.
I've read that screw on comps are nore effective than the bushing style ones for 1911s, but they are so big and gawdy I can't even entertain them from an aesthetic standpoint.

    I was asking about a 9mm comp.

I don’t want a bushing style either I think those look terrible.

guess my teaches were right, my reading comprehension sucks :-P

still, i think most of the comps out there are going to look gamey and wild. If it werent for the roland special and kkm and i dont think we'd have so many people interested in comps.

Assume this is a (exceptionally well crafted) weight/extension as opposed to a brake?
    I see no ports.

The Roland special style is what I thought about doing.

I can’t believe there aren’t companies making these style comps.
