The fact your uniformly excellent barrels and other products go out of stock so quickly is proof that you have a good finger on the AR pulse.

    Thanks for your reply.

Hey Clint those HFCL barrels look incredible! Wish I had the cash for 3 or 4.

    Question:

I have a 16MPR with the intermediate gas and a Vltor a5H2 buffer under a springco green and it runs fine unsuppressed. Im adding a Vox s as a can pretty soon, and was wondering if it would be fine with the H2 or should I bump up the weight?

    EDIT:

Any plans to make a 6.5 CM in 16-18"?

    Clint-

Received mine this week. It will be a while until I get the build together but wanted to add my compliments for a great looking barrel, and my thanks for bringing it to market!

Can anyone here tell me if the factory pinned gas block are tapered pins?
Picked one brand new on the used market and need to pull the gas block for my barrel nut.
    Thanks

With the factory pin option, the barrel and gas block is drilled, but the pin is left separate to make barrel nut installation easier.

The factory pin is a spiral taper pin.

Thanks for the reply Clint. I brought one of your barrels on the used market and it has a barrel nut already installed unfortunately I need to change it out.

    Thank You.

The 16" with A5H2 should run fine with the Vox.

We aren't currently planning on any large frame stuff, but who knows what the future holds.

Does anyone happen to have some velocity numbers for the 12.5" CHF CL Optimum barrel with 55gr? (PMC X-tac if possible, just to compare to Mark Smith's SOLGW & Hodge numbers)? Curious how it compares to a Hodge, I'd prefer the BRT for the profile and gas system if the velocities are similar. Clint said in an email that the HFCL barrels have a slightly tapered bore, the same process that gives Hodge it's increased velocity. I've got an 11.5 HCFL from BRT and it's fantastic, would love to stay in the family.
