What is the measurement on those gas ports for the 13.9" barrels?

Thought I would pop in with a quick update on my MPR16.

I was doing some load development looking for the most accurate "cheap" 556 ammo I could make from the tons of H335 and 62gr FMJ I have laying around. I dont think I need to look any further. Makes 2860 FPS in the 16" barrel under 24.8 gas of H335 powder. Honestly having a barrel that shoots 62 FMJ's this well makes me not want to waste my pile of 77's?

Wow..nice results. Still gathering parts for a 13.9 BRT build, may have to move to a 16 after the 13.9 with results like this!

Great result, especially considering the projectiles. I need to get the MPR16 I bought in the EE installed in the BCM upper receiver I have waiting for it. Pretty sure I bought the barrel pre-covid

When I shot that group I was using a lower with a regular Carbine H2 set up. Normally the gun lives with a Vltor A5H2. For reference with the A5H2 this gun has been reliable with everything from wolf to my ultra spicy handholds. I think the intermediate gas and A5 really make for the OP rifle.

EDIT: pretty soon I should be doing more load development with 77's using Varget and H335. I'll be sure to share the results.
