    Gotcha. I'm actually thinking of going with a closed Warcomp next time. Or moving the open one to a P&W job and replacing it with a closed one. Something like that. Sorry to hear the 16" barrel didn't work out. I ran a bunch of green tip through mine today and thoroughly liked it.

    Its all gravy bud. Not everything is going to live up to expectation. Part of the fun is experimenting.

    I had the option to put a closed tine war comp onto this barrel but chose not to since I really believed I needed more side ports to combat the horrid 3 o'clock push this gun has.
    You are a genuine toolbag if you have your EDC "loadout" in your signature line...

    I'll echo the chrome lining bore and chamber and the medium contour/weight, something as far from a gov profile as you can get it.

    @Clint - 12” is the foreend length necessary to cover the gas block on your 16’ barrels, correct?

    Not Clint, but a 12" ALG Rail covered the gas block on my 16" Optimum barrel nicely.

    Yes, a 12" will fully cover the gas block.
