Not my experience. In many ways they are more comfortable, unless you have little or no experience with them then they seem like they suck. I think Glock triggers suck, but it's mostly because I'm used to something else and haven't spent enough time to make them work as well as SIGs and HKs.

I watched a surveillance video where a homeowner was killed because he had an AR and not a bullpup. He had to lower the muzzle to open a door when the perp rushed in and shot him. I thought, if he had a bullpup then he could have kept that muzzle up while opening the door since it's a much more compact weapon and less front heavy.

He only lowered the muzzle by six inches just to clear the door while opening it. The perp pushed the muzzle down and took him out. I can see why a handgun in that scenario or a bullpup would have been much better. You can hold a bullpup forever close to your body, pointed directly in front of you even with one hand- it's simply a superior design for that kind of environment where you need your other hand to do stuff. Modern bullpups even forward ejection or buffers to push the casings forward so you can shoot it with either shoulder. I wouldn't feel undergunned with a bullpup and the magazine changes are fast enough with just a little a practice.

Here's Travis Haley with a Tavor starting at 8:00.

Actually if he had any training at all he wouldn't have needed to lower the muzzle regardless of if he was carrying an AR, and AK, A G3 or a FAL. He lowered he weapon as he entered the room, seen people do that stupid shit with handguns even. It mostly comes from people being taught a "low ready" start position or having seen and copied a "low ready" start position.

Cops clear houses all day with Rem 870s that are a lot longer than ARs in most cases.

And in that specific scenario, that is why you don't enter muzzle first through a cracked door. Homeowner could have been using an Uber SHTF Krinkov and just been shot right through the door if you are standing on the other side with the muzzle poking in.

If only my man had this AK pistol bullpup. It would be so short that it would be inverted and he could confidentiality open the door in mud!

If you would have shown a Norinco 86s then I would have agreed. Now I wish I hadn't sold my Norinco 86s. However the AUG's are better.

Clearly the Krummlauf is the ULTIMATE home defense weapon.

No more taking chances with doors, just shoot around them.

More AR derangement syndrome. That was a training deficit more than a weapon issue.
