    Low Flash .223/5.56 Loads

I picked up some H322 powder today. I also had some 68 bthp bullets I can't get to group very well at distance. I decided that I would attempt to see if a heavy bullet pushed by a faster powder would lower the muzzle flash out of a 10.5" barrel.

I found the H322 seemed to have the lowest flash that I perceived as the shooter. This looks like its going to be the combo I will use for this rifle and HD rounds. I don't really need super tight groups for HD use.

YouTube Video: When viewed at 60fps, it shows pretty accurate.....well it did before YouTube did their compression.

    2 shots each of 22.6, 22.8 and 23.0 gns of H322 pushing a 68 bthp.
    3 shots of .223 55gn UMC.
2 shots of some random unknown .223 Federal.
    4 or 5 shots of .223 Bulk 55gn Federal.
2 more shots of .223 Bulk Federal.
    2 shots 55gn pushed by 23.5 H335.

Here are the casings from the H322 and 68bthp. They are in order from left to right, 22.2,22.4,22.6,22.8, and 23.0. I also noted the casing themselves where cleaner then normal. I am guess the faster powder sealed the cases to the chamber walls faster/better?

I could go to H322 as my only .223 powder. We still shoot a little XBR, but h322 is great powder.

My only concern is conflicting information online about 68 bthp performance out of SBR. I have been scouring forums and blogs trying to find test of the round but I am having problems finding comprehensive data. I find that so strange for a rather old and well known bullet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
