Yes, but they're still mainly maladjusted social misfits. They can't establish or maintain normal interpersonal relations because people feel the "creep" emanating from them. With no one to turn to, they ideate towards hate and blame shifting. It's not their fault they can't fit in, it's some other person or group's fault. That's the one common denominator with all these nuts who snap. They're just damaged people who can't change and can't accept that they're their own worst enemy.

These killers didn’t snap. Their what I referred to at the fringes of society. Maladjusted misfits is a pretty good description. They knew what they were doing everything step of the way and they felt justified in their actions.
