Rosensein to be fired this week?

    https://truepundit.com/fbi-official-...-fisa-warrant/
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein approved an application last year to extend surveillance of former Trump campaign associate Carter Page, a secret Republican memo claims, according to law enforcement sources and news reports.
Rosenstein has been fighting the release of the memo from inside the Justice.
According to three people familiar with the memo, the FBI and Justice Department’s (DOJ) application was based partially on research by investigator Christopher Steele, who contributed to a dossier containing unverified claims about President Trump‘s ties to Russia.
The GOPmemo alleges officials did not sufficiently explain their reasoning for extending the surveillance.

It's dominating the News cycle, even over Kavanaugh this afternoon. The Dem's are threatening impeachment if he is fired.

Supposedly he has offered his resignation to Kelly verbally.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one

Depending on which Washington insider you choose to believe, Rod Rosenstein, America's deputy attorney general, has offered to resign if necessary, definitely intends to quit, or is sure he's about to be fired.
But regardless of whether he jumps or is pushed, the looming exit of the man overseeing Robert Mueller's investigation into allegations of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election is a major deal.
Donald Trump's critics will seize upon it as yet more evidence of his attempts to obstruct justice in connection with the probe.
And Rosenstein's departure may have knock-on effects on the U.S. president's efforts to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as his pick for the Supreme Court, and for the coming midterm elections.

    Can't Jeff Sessions fire him?

This likely means he is either the leak, part of the leak or his finger prints are all over some FISA stuff about to be brought in to the light.

Breitbart is reporting that Rosenstien resigned his position at the DOJ to John Kelly today before a meeting scheduled Thursday with the POTUS.

Rod Rosenstein should still be "fired"

... out of a cannon and into a nearby brickwall.
