    I believe that they can be jumpier, due to the larger reciprocating mass. This is probably why the MPX has been far more popular than the CZ Evo in USPSA, despite the much higher price.

    Delayed blowback is just so much nicer, smoother, and especially with a silencer!

    Thanks, guys.
    As regards silencers, I've heard it argued both ways (locked breech vs blowback).
    Less reciprocating mass and smoother running were my objectives in getting the Sig MPX, and the thing looked wonderfully well made. The carbine was pricey, and the $60 @ magazines were ridiculous. But mine didn't run reliably, even after a trip to the mother ship, so I made it go away.
    I may try another one some time, but the CZ is so light and handy (mine is SBR with the folding stock) and the Colt feels like an AR. Both have been stone reliable.
