Springfield Armory OMEGA 10mm

I came across a Springfield Armory OMEGA 10mm this afternoon. I've never handled one before today and have to admit I was intrigued by the 6" 10mm. I've done some searches and there isn't a whole lot out there about them that I can see. I know there are quite a number of current production 10mm's out there, but this beast has caught my eye! If anyone has any experience they would like to share, good bad or indifferent I would like to hear about it.

Don't know about the Omega, but the brand new Operator 10mm's back at Sprg. for the second time. It wasn't cheap, either.

It was a joint effort with Peters-Stahl from Germany about 30 years ago. Another “someday” unicorn that I never got, but the ones I handled back then seemed very good quality.
