My first upper came with a 15” FF rail, but I’ve always liked the look and durability of the FSP. So I’m slowly gathering parts for a build that involves a 14.5 Colt SOCOM and a 12” C4 with the cutout. I’m a long way away from affording that rail, but I’m looking forward to it.

What weight buffer did you use? The standard buffer that Vltor supplies with their a5 kit?

I don't buy the kits as they are wasteful. I am using the A5H3.

Cool KISS build. All of mine have standard FSB's. Nothing wrong with it.

I enjoy mine, but am happy that I went super cheap with a PSA upper since it’ll never be a training rifle for me. I like optics too much and had a lot of other things that the money needed to go to.
