    Since I don’t want to start a new thread and since this loosely relates to my question, I will post it here. Is there any reason that you cannot use Geissele rails (specifically the MK16 and MK8) on the new Mod 2 SR15s and SR30s? Specifically I am asking about the gas block, gas tube, barrel nuts and receiver compatibility.

    I know I’ve seen it done, Weapon Outfitters I believe has built some.
