Yep, and they are the ones who I've had shoulder (or lack thereof) issue with.

You aren't going to play a rich man's game, on a poor man's budget.

The green mountain option looked good, also Faxon Or BA. All 3 are good options around $150. Look used to, lots of people part out .300blk out uppers.

Ballistic Advantage Hanson barrels look good. I am toying with the ideo of building my own .300BLK upper with one of those barrels.

I am guessing you may see similar quality in the other options you are looking at in that price range. There are certainly people that think they need the most High Speed Super Ninja SOCOM barrel to sit in their tree stand once a year looking for a whitetail and you are on the money with getting the right tool for the job.

On the other side though, if you save $100-$150 on a barrel and then get baffle strikes on your can or the upper is a total dumpster fire and won't run or shoots 20 inch groups at 50 yards, what did you save? Built by the lowest bidder has a cost all of its own.

My shooting time is limited and if something chokes its a major bummer. I am all about getting a used $300 barrel for $150 as opposed to a cheap barrel to start out with.

You just missed this AAC barrel for $145, which is a steal!

Use riverofguns.com or the M4C EE and wait for a decent branded barrel to show up.

    EDIT:
Just saw this on TOS. I have no idea if KAK barrels are any good:

I bought a dirt cheap 8.5” 300blk upper from PSA just to see if it was something I’d be interested in. It has shot flawlessly, suppressed and unsuppresses with both supers and subs. It’s on a PSA SBA3 lower now.
