i can only speak for 1 holosun optic that has held up and no NCstar product personally.... but i would avoid that hindged feature from any manufacturer

not every chicom firearm/accessory is junk.... you dont see to many complaints about polytech AKs

Ask Travis Haley what he thinks of his. I bet he wouldn't hold back.

Travis's son garand thumb said he can notice that the holosun is affected by paralax more then an aimpoint (although still not a whole lot) but he didnt have any reliability issues

They can build to any price point or spec you want. Give them enough money and they'll build you a legit AimPoint.

Why would you NOT want to use the red dot indoors? Reflex sights are superior to irons in a combative role in every possible way.

Do you understand that the standard practice is to mount a red dot so that the irons are visible through it and then aim the irons through the red dot's glass?

    This is how it's done:
    Attachment 54317

All I need to do to use the iron sights is to lower my head about a 1/4 inch. I can see the front sight through the Aimpoint, like this:
    Attachment 54318
Because I don't want to do this. What do you think of NcStar optics? Have you used them?

Does Aimpoint build a flip up--flip down sight? If so, can you give me a review of the Aimpoint Flipdot?

They do not, which is called a clue.

Go ahead. Buy your NCStar flipdot and show the world a new path.

They do not. You can put offset sights if you really really need to use irons however, you're over thinking this. A red dot is going to be faster and better overall
