I don't think this guy is interested in any advice that contradicts how we wants to do things. When asked why doesn't he just follow the well-proven path of irons co-witnessed with a quality reflex sight, he answers "because I don't want to do that".

I think he already bought that NCStar crap and wants validation, to be honest.

I really wonder if a SE Asian 1:1 equivalent wouldn't cost more. Read through a Shotgun News article years back about all the pains Compasseco in Bardstown, KY had went through with a Chinese company to spec an air rifle that finally came close to RWS on velocity, accuracy, fit, and finish. Price wasn't mentioned in their article so I logged on and found out what else was almost the same as RWS. Seen the price stay the same but quality drop with the first article of clothing bought from cabelas made in Canada and Australia when buying another a couple of years later to find Chinese stuff was apparently cut for someone with mutations

Perhaps the most bizarre is Chinese Mora copies selling for the same as the real deal if not more.

Quite possible. I'm just saying they have the machines, labor, mfor the good stuffaterials and know how to make a good product but they build to the price point the customer wants. That's not to say the plant won't do some shady shit and swap cheaper or defective parts

While I don't think it is a good idea, why not stick a 30mm tube red dot from Holosun/Primary Arms or Vortex in one of the flip to side magnifier mounts?

That was mentioned as part of the deal Compasseco went through over a years long process to ***almost*** get there.

Oh, you are back! No, I don't want to be told what to do. I don't want reviews of other optics. This is a narrow, pointed question about your experience with NcStar. No, I have not purchased this NcStar flipdot.

Nothing made by NC star should be put on a weapon you may need or choose to defend you, or your loved ones with.

A wise man learns from the experience of others. A fool only wants to learn from his own.
