    I like Pre-WWII A1 irons.

I went with the Harrison retro GI, this one will be as clean as a 1939 NM.

My Colt wears the 10-8 National Match rear with Dawson front FO. The 10-8 NM model is the one that fits in the stock rear Colt dovetail. It works with the stock series 80 front too. I really like the sight picture and it sticks up far enough and is stocky enough to rack the slide, which I've done in training and matches.

I like the Trijicon HDs too and have them on a Glock but not a 1911. Often think about getting a set for one though.

Ironically, I'm thinking about doing the opposite and replacing the HD rears on my Glocks with the Wilson Combat rear, to match the one on my CQB...

I really like the Battlesight, the HD is very blocky and sharp.

I really like my 10-8 "National Match" rear. Classic look, fits stock Colt dovetail, robust with cocking edge/shelf, U notch. Simple and effective.

This. One day I'll buy a stock 1911 and just replace the standard rear with the 10-8 National Match to have a stock 1911 that still shoots well..
