    Colt lower discontinued?

It looks like Brownell stop selling colt lower due to discontinued by Colt!

Does it anyone has any info on why it’s being discontinued? I was thinking to start a MK18 build, but now no more colt lower to buy...

Saw that...I would just buy an OEM colt rifle & sell the upper...you’ll still come out ahead. They’re under $750 I believe.

Yes Colt has stopped selling just the lowers. I don't think it is a smart move for them as they were selling well. Rumor had it they might be selling them direct on their site eventually, but pricing won't make sense. Just do as suggested above and part out an OEM

Unlimited Arms does have some Colt lowers for $325. They are marked "Piston" though I believe

Supposedly their lawyers put an end to it. We'll see.

A vendor (Arms Unlimited) posted on arf. Another poster who also has a LEO star under his screenname says he talked to a Colt rep at work who confirmed.
