I think that with her district, I’ll be explaining to my grandkids why she was ‘hot’ at one point...
Colorado was interesting, and not in a good way. Colorado isn’t Cali, though it is trying. We went blue for all the statewide seats, and that doesn’t bode well for Garnder in two years. The intetesting thing is that the only state-wide candidate that ran against Trump was the AG, which he had too because the GOP guy was a stone-cold lawyer who was a much better candidate for the AG job. The Dem was all about his ties to Obama and being against Trump.
Watching the ads, when I had to, the Dems ran as moderate republicans. The guy who beat Coffman looked and smelled like a GOP candidate. Polis, the gay gov never mentioned his husband and ran as free market, pro-oil, businessman. The ballot innitiatives- banning fracking and a graduated income tax (even for ‘education’) didn’t pass. The dems control all three house, senate and gov chair, so let’s see how they actual govern. CO still has a libertarian bent to it.
It is interesting that the crazy dems make all the noise and gather attention, but it the dems who look like the GOP that won.
On the Army vet that Coffman lost to. F him. Vets and dems that are anti-2A, but say things like “I hunt” or “I own guns” are like me saying “I have a black friend”.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.
It's that simple.
