    Daniel defense ddm4v11 or ddm4v7

What would you pick Daniel defense ddm4v11 (keymod rails) or ddm4v7 (M-lok rails)? I was told the rails are the only difference.

That would be a correct statement... As I have both, I prefer the feel of MLOK... both are solid choices for many users... figure out which accessories you may choose and their availability... My V7 is my favorite DDM4

If the mounting solution is the only difference, this is essentially a keymod vs MLOK thread, of which there are already plenty.

I prefer keymod connectivity but the way mlok looks better.

    Have a V11 Pro.

The rails are different cross-sections and will feel totally different in the hand. The V11 rail is shaped like a quad rail shaved down for KeyMod. The V7 rail is similar to the BCM MCMR.

    V7 MFR Rail:

I'd go with V7 since it's more ergonomic, lighter and uses MLOK.

I was going to pickup the V11 but then there was the new V7 in stock and it was immediately a no brainer decision to get the MLOC after holding each. Then was glad I did as it seems MLOC will overtake keymod in the long run. Smaller, stronger, better looking and even cheaper and easier to manufacture. Win/ win. Once you get the knack of mounting procedure with MLOC which is a tad tricky, just read and follow the instructions and you’re gtg.

I own the V7 however mine is the Pro version. I highly recommend it. The hand guard feels perfect.
