Ah but it looks good to their base who are screaming for someone to take our rights away because, they don't like them or us and will profane/disturb us
    every chance they get.

Ignorance can be bliss... but in this situation I'd say "no" to being grateful you never knew those days.

I'm just old enough to remember the tail end of those days. I lament the loss of freedom/liberty that the younger generations don't realize they no longer have.

I can't afford this to go anywhere.
Too many lowers to fill. Plus spare parts, ouch.

The price of liberty is, always has been, and always will be blood: The person who is not willing to die for his liberty has already lost it to the first scoundrel who is willing to risk dying to violate that person's liberty! Are you free?

I interpret it as making 80% lowers illegal too.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

I think that’s ultimately the goal. I think they’d give up a lot of the rest of it to out law 80% receivers.

The part I think will be tricky to inforce and they’ll give up is the ‘parts kits’. To me it reads as everything but the receiver. So like a kit you’d be sold with an 80% receiver to make a complete gun. I think they know out lawing gun parts for repairs would be a no go.

Now of concern is the part about home gun smithing. This could mean you could not buy a complete detailed lower and build it at home. Again, I think this is a part they plan to bargain away to get rid of 80% receivers.

Prior to polymer80 flock relievers it require real work to finish a 80% lower. The polymer80 receivers are incredibly quick and easy to complete accuarately and cleanly. They design on them seems solid too. I think they even sell 100% receivers now.

But that is what is says. Parts kits is " any part or combination of parts."

So I take that as replacement parts too.

The same SCOTUS that just refused to hear a challenge to May-Issue in Commiefornia?

We're probably safe for the next two years unless a GOP Senator resigns or keels over. 2020 election cycle the Senate seats up are not in our favor, and Red Team has not inspired confidence in holding the Bluedouches at bay. Granted, we didn't lose as much as one would normally expect in a midterm... but 2020 the Killary-istas will be out for blood, if need be literally. Imagine Broward County, FL going nationwide--some Dems are already saying "R's cheat so we have to cheat harder."

That said, when people think about this I expect a new run... so buy cheap and stack deep while you can.

This is a front door assault on our semi automatic weapons. It is billed vague enough to slide under political cover of insignificance, after the next national tragedy it will be pressed against Senate Rs as common sense loopholes closures like bump stocks. How many will cave? It will pass the House on party line.
