    Saltech M80 7.62x51

Has anyone ever shot Saltech M80 7.62x51? It's made in Switzerland, so in theory it should be of good quality.

The price is on par with new ammo, but it does come packed in an ammo can. The pictures show that the primers are crimped and there isn't a NATO cross on the headstamp (which makes since because it's not made in Switzerland. I wonder if this is the ammo that Swiss Arms uses to test their 751 SAPR's.

Nope, but you have my attention...

No NATO cross makes sense, since Switzerland isn't part of NATO.

SGAmmo’s website indicates that it’s boxer primed.

Yeah, I'm looking for confirmation... When I hear European mil- producer, then I think: Berdan.

I'll have to correct the above statement. The link above indicated that the reviewer's can arrived with a wire seal. I took a look at SGAmmo's website and sure enough, there was a wire seal. So, it appears that someone at Outdoor Limited or perhaps someone before it got to them had opened my can. That's not a big deal as I would have opened my first can anyway, but it's not kosher to ship an unsealed can without disclosure.
