Just interesting as I have not seen this in hundreds of firing pins I have handled over the years.

Is it just me or is the dull colored one seem to be dimensionally larger than the one on the left? It looks like it's larger diameter, and the flange looks thicker too. Do you have a micrometer or calipers to check with?
