An adjustable gas block only helps you in one direction. Are you able to open the gas port yourself without the chance of destroying it if needed?

Sending it off for gas port work may erase your cost savings over getting a barrel known to work the first time.

It will always be suppressed so with a .080 port I should have plenty of gas. Faxon’s 11.5 middy has a .1 port but was meant to be able to run unsuppressed too.

Do you mind explaining why you suggest that threading? Not questioning your wisdom, just genuinely interested.

No Problem.

Larger threads are stronger and are less affected by muzzle device torque.

This is especially important with a suppressor, as this joint is near the center of mass (of the barrel/suppressor).

The Turbo mount is available in 5/8-24.

Suppressor is a YHM Turbo which uses a 1/2-28” mount. I’m anxious to get my eForm1 back soon so I can have this bad boy chopped - I’m pending FBI now. :/
