We're playing with 6.5 in AR-10. It's starting to hang with .308/300wm, but nothing like you have there. +1 on the gun specs/barrel length, etc.

That is some pretty good shooting, what kind of wind and what bullet weight?

I have a large frame AR in 6.5 CM too... I really like it. It is noticeably easier to make hits with at any distance >800 yds than my 308 stuff. Recoil is mild too.

If you could improve the consistency a bit, you may be able to embarrass a few bolt action guys on a good day. I find it amazing that a semi auto platform can achieve sub-MOA at 1k, but it can be done.

Mine does it at 900. Range I shoot at has I believe 12" gongs at 900 yards(I think they are smaller, but hard for me to tell, Ive never physically gone out to look at them) and I can make repeatable hits on them if I get the wind call(guess LOL) correct. Pretty close to sub MOA at 1000.

Its a lot in the barrel(I run a JP 6.5 barrel) and a lot in the load(my load is stupid consistent across the chrono) and a bit in the shooter.
