Getting a lot of great ideas, So where does a guy go to shop for the best prices? Might be the best time of the year to snag a decent deal and who can you trust?

I would personally go to the Internet. A non-sarcastic answer requires me to know what you're actually shopping for.

Brownells has the Geissele rapid fire and two-stage triggers which are pretty much the same as the SSA / SD at 2/3 the price.

They are full of little recesses where crud can accumulate. Those same recesses can trap a popped primer.

They are full of dinky, fragile parts

    They are not duty grade.

I also think they aren’t safe.

I’ll do some legwork for you. I don’t know if you’re still stuck on drop ins but the links below should take you to them and others .

    1. Are you military or prior service?
    2. Are you First Responder??

If yes to either go to the websites below. Use their “Contact Us” page or call them and ask where to send your creds to or mil ID or DD214. Not sure what you send if you’re LEO.

So here are the online gun shops I personally use for my own builds and those I build for others. They are highly trustworthy and I have spent.... a lot at each store.

    (Not really in order)

    - DSG Arms
    Drop-in Triggers

    https://dsgarms.com/lower-receiver-p...:drop+in!!10!!

    Standard triggers
    https://dsgarms.com/lower-receiver-p...d+install!!0!!

    - Primary Arms
    [I]
    AR-10/LR308 Triggers[/]

ETA: For some reason here linked are not wrong f. Just open up “Categories” and scroll down to triggers and check that box it will load correctly then.

    https://www.primaryarms.com/MCategories+AR-308-Triggers

    AR-15 triggers
    https://www.primaryarms.com/MCategories+AR-15-Triggers

    - Joe Bob’s

    AR-10 triggers
    https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/AR-...rs-s/19085.htm

    AR-15 triggers
    https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Aft...s-s/132846.htm

    - Rainier Arms
    AR Triggers (both platforms)
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rai...roups/%3famp=1

There are other stores you can shop at that have good deals.

If you’re not still stuck in drop ins check out Optics Planet, they have a deal I. The EDT’s for $83 bucks. IF you want a single stage

I already left a link for the LaRue MBT.

ETA: There were some issues with DSG Arms links. The system insurers the rage [/url]. And excluded two characters of the actual URL. Primary Arms is just acting stupid. You have to expand categories and click “Triggers”.
Joe Bobs worked and Rainier seems to work.

You guy's are making some great points on the drop in trigger, and RobertTheTexan has been a lot of help also. I think what I'll do is see if a sale will pop up before Christmas.
    Thanks, 5shank

Extremely well made by a man in the trigger business for decades.
Meant to add Im building a 20" "precision" rifle that will also have a Velocity 3lb in it.
