Getting a lot of great ideas, So where does a guy go to shop for the best prices? Might be the best time of the year to snag a decent deal and who can you trust?

Are there bad drop in triggers?

Brownells has the Geissele rapid fire and two-stage triggers which are pretty much the same as the SSA / SD at 2/3 the price.

Why? What issues are there with them?

They are full of little recesses where crud can accumulate. Those same recesses can trap a popped primer.

They are full of dinky, fragile parts

They are not duty grade.

I also think they aren’t safe.

You guy's are making some great points on the drop in trigger, and RobertTheTexan has been a lot of help also. I think what I'll do is see if a sale will pop up before Christmas.

Velocity 4lb. Been runnin one on my LMT for many years now..an absolute dream trigger. Currently $134 over at WC Armory.
Extremely well made by a man in the trigger business for decades.
Meant to add Im building a 20" "precision" rifle that will also have a Velocity 3lb in it.
