Anybody use the Y-Mount on a Saker?

I have a Saker 556 and 762, and ordered them with the Y-Mount MAAD modules. I've always thought the SiCo Y-Mount was too long and heavy, though. YHM released an adapter earlier this year for the Sakers, and another for the Omega/Hybrid/etc. I finally bit the bullet and decided to buy one of the YHM versions on Black Friday due to 25% off and free shipping.

It's definitely shorter and lighter...ballpark of 50% in both areas.

Measuring just the outside portion, I got .97" vs 1.71".
Weighing the adapters gave me a 3.3oz vs 7.4oz.

How do you like the Y mount system itself?

For me, it's the best system on the market. Some of the least expensive mounts. No moving parts on the silencer. Locks on solid. Rarely ever hear stories of can being stuck on mounts, or launched off mounts. It's about as idiot-proof as you could ask for. And it can be tucked inside a rail if you want that kind of setup.

Every rifle can I own uses it.
YHM: LT, ULT, Nitro, Turbo (x2)
Silencerco: Saker 762, Saker 556, Omega
Plus a half dozen F1 cans

The major complaint is how ugly the mounts are. I'm more function over form, so that doesn't bother me. Plus, since I rarely ever shoot unsuppressed, I don't see them anyway. On top of that, they've released new flash hiders somewhat recently that got rid of the "teeth" on the end.

BTW...if you've never seen it, this video does a good job explaining how it actually works.
