    .458 socom and pistol braces?

Wondering if any has run a .458 with a pistol brace, and how the brace has held up to recoil?
Specifically interested in the SB pdw, maxium defense pdw, and SBa3.

I have a .458 SOCOM AR so I can tell you it recoils close to what a 12 ga shotgun does. That said, I’ve never used a pistol brace with it but I’d be leery to.

I’ve ran my Tromix barreled .458 upper with a Maxium Defense PDW brace. Worked fine, but I did replace the brace with an A5 tube and SBA3 brace

Ghost brace and A5 tube? You no longer have the MD PDW on it? If so, how many rounds you think you run on it?

    Sorry,....crazy typo. “...the brace...”

Correct, I no longer have the PDW on it, have it listed for sale on BARFcom
I had actually used the longer SB Tactical tube it’s it doing could ripen a standard buffer and spring.
I tan about 900 rounds wupith it installed.

Correct, I no longer have the PDW installed. I listed it on another forum for sale.
I had actually used the longer SB Tactical buffer tube in place of the Maxium Defense tube. I did this so I could run a standard carbine buffer & spring. I ran about 900 rounds through the gun with the PDW installed.

Apologies for all the crazy typos.......was on my phone. I’m still sober........and drug free.
