Nomad Defense Nomad 9 "Glock 19" Frame

Interesting. Does anyone have any feedback yet?

The profile reminds me of the old CCF Race Frames aluminum frame. I like the idea of the extended beavertail as part of the frame rather than an add-on item after the fact.

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

    Polymer 80 makes a 17, 19 &26 frame
The Glock Store makes a 43 frame. All pretty nice and easy peasy to finish.

These Nomad frames aren't 80% finished. They are 100% and serialized.

JM Custom Kydex is saying they've bought one of these frames and will have holsters available soon.

I'd be interested in a 17 frame. I see the thumb rest ledges as being problematic for CCW, but that isn't the purpose for which I'm interested in this frame.

Gen 3 compatible would be nice too since that's what is most common for aftermarket.

This is definitely interesting product. I saw a video review that indicates the frame does not work with safariland holsters or with kydex holsters. It would have been a good idea if nomad made the frame so it would fit in all g19 holsters.

I hope they make one of these frames for the g21.

In my opinion, the enlarged trigger guard is one of the nicer features.

From what I've read, holsters that are designed to accept a Glock with a light attached will also work with this frame.

JM Custom Kydex has posted on another forum that he will be making holsters for this frame with no light on.
